Star Substitute

Star Substitute

A Poem by alice

Stars are the most multipurpose item in existence.
Stars cover the moon queen in a dense, ebony blanket.

Stars are glasses for us so the galaxy can clear up.

Stars protect us, even as the sun king hangs lazily in the sky.

Stars are the substitute for everything, but nothing can replace stars.

This is wonderful!! I love the first line- the word multipurpose- almost commercial like, but then the images you create- amazing! Your final line says it all! well done.
