A Real Smile

A Real Smile

A Story by Franklyn

I know all to well what she’s going through
The pain and confusion to see a real smile on
Her face and not just the front she puts on for
Everyone,

I envy him to have smoked and drank and
Loved her the way I never will. Going out and
Getting drunk and stoned she needs a break and
To simile a real smile again.

To see her sitting quite and low in the corner
To see her becoming someone else rips my
Heart in two.

Lying awake worrying about her is she
Sleeping, awake, crying is she loosing herself in
This depression he created for her.

How I long to comfort her, hold her
And tell her that everything will be ok once again,
How I want to run my fingers through
Her hair and tell her that one day everything
Will be beautiful once more.

And how once more I long to see her
Smile a real smile.
