PLEASE

PLEASE

A Poem by FRANK
"

For Bonnie... I know you loved me. Please forgive me.

"
My driveway holds a memory
A secret that is shared by me and God
Leaving me to wander, if only for a moment
Within dark places well within

I wonder if I will ever be released
Or if I will ever release myself
Forget myself
Forget what I did
Forgive myself
Forgive my rush to be with another
Forget this pain inside
Forget you and your rush to be with me

Can you hear me, God
Will you make my dreams better
Are you loving her as much as I did
Please let me know

Wondering if you ever will
I wrote a letter to Jane Goodall today
While driving

Then again, I suppose you know that
You know everything

That's what makes you so wonderful

Only you have the ability to bring me to tears with the first few lines of your poetry. Bonnie forgives you. Forgive yourself. You're too much like Dad. Remember Blackie Tom?
