Escaping

Escaping

A Poem by Francis Orion

Head in the clouds
My mind
Is somewhere else
Today
Lost in a
Daydream
In the warm
Breathtaking sun
With you
Away from
The cold grasp
Of the autumn

Great piece! Being in Louisiana, I can relate basically every afternoon of autumn. :)

Yeah, I live in the NE, but I'm all about summer! Thanks
Lucky you Francis. My mind is on why it is only October and yet I nearly froze to death going to the store, with hat, gloves, three layers, a jacket and boots.
I remember this sun thing you talk of, from the far, far away :-)
Great write once again Francis. Maybe when I thaw out a bit more, I will feel the warmth of your words some more.
