When the Ink Runs DryA Story by Francis Orion100 word story
He dreamed of being a writer. He considered himself a literary genius. In his mind, he was the next Hemingway. He wrote mostly about the people in his life. After a few publishings of his work, he felt fame was upon him.
He left everything that helped him find success behind. His loving wife, he thought he could do better. His family, they would just drag him down. His friend and agent, because he couldn't possibly negotiate his contract. Then in a strange coincidence, his words became vanquished and without inspiration. Alone, he now writes ads for the local pennysaver. © 2015 Francis OrionReviews
