The Caliphate Of The CurstA Poem by Franc RodriguezThe tale of fall of the Caliphate by the Jinns and Ghouls.
Darkness hover'd above the leery sky,
Across the Ottoman Empire and Persia, Reaching Egypt and the lands of Arabia, Whilst the new harvest till'd began to dry. Starkness swath'd the fields in the gloom, As the swarm of evil reapers brought grue, That the tenfold sinners of Allah would rue, Spreading a foul stench of death and doom. The madness wield'd upon those brazen fools, When the streets of sin burnt with their wrath, And the scythes of banesmen slain with brath, Whilst the earth was full of Jinns and Ghouls, Nothingness seen o'er the old land that durst, And gone then was, the Caliphate of the curst! © 2016 Franc Rodriguez |
