Anathema Of The Homo SapiensA Poem by Franc RodriguezThe horrid vision of human calamity.
I
Multifarious acts of those covetous ingrates, Delineating within their impertinent debates, Committing transgressions in concomitance, Contriving from their orgulous recalcitrance. II Stentorian clamours from the presumptuous, Exuberant penchants of those contemptuous, Sedition in the faces of the cogent curmudgeons, Chincerie and umbrage beneath the bludgeons. III Profligate perdition and the flagitious aspersions, Impetuous voracity of such lascivious perversions, Noisome impudence from those infinite emperors, Parricide imposed onto the neonates of successors. IV Impunity of man's crimes and impuissant pathos, Succour obviated from abating rectitude and logos, Tristful visages and tinctured pages of the anchorites, Inculcated servility within the condemned catamites. V Viduity and dereliction amongst the ignoble chatised, Ablactated orphans of lassitude and affliction despised, Conflicts and crusades obliterating the desires for felicity, Preternatural beatitude evinced without urge and alacrity. VI Genuine rhapsody supplicated from the extricated nations, Sufferance preluding the queiscent sound of mute elations, Under the oscillating pendulum of the beast's facile lechery, Obstreperous domains of the caliphate and the monarchy. VII Villatic epitaphs of the once euphonious environs of joy, Travails and embellishments exaggerated in man's ploy, Neglected prophecies of the anointed of such munificence, Who suffuse immaculate oceans in sublime effervescence. VIII Consonance astray within the anathema of the Homo sapiens, Blandishment and ethereal subterfuge of the miscellaneous, Extemporaneous constitutions and proclamations postulate, A conviction for man's rapacity for laudation and to propagate. © 2016 Franc Rodriguez |
