Asylum Of The Harlequins

Asylum Of The Harlequins

A Poem by Franc Rodriguez
"

The haunting place of the deranged populace.

"
I
I am the induced cynosure of insane implacability,
Conjured in a conception of eventual compatibility,
Promulgated by such an incorporable monomania,
Behind a suicide, homicide, parricide of egomania.
II
Despots, assassins, brigands and the psychopaths,
Deluders, executioners, embezzlers and sociopaths,
Interspersed within the chambers of my consortium,
Inveigled in the labyrinth of my inductive hospitium.
III
The intricate and vile dimension of stigmatic atavism,
Coetaneous and desultory assumptions of Platonism,
The astringed obsessions for the esoteric intrinsicality,
Trenchant and extirpated animas without extrinsicality.
IV
Capricious demigods and progenies of heretical harridans,
Inexorable clamours amidst the ingrates and the Puritans,
Partitions and columns of the mansion of Hades quotidian,
An assemblage of eccentric derelicts of a vagary draconian.
V
Quantum appearances of the variations of triennial eidolons,
Haunt the aphotic oubliettes and the vestibules of nebulons,
Turbulent paradoxes and abhorrent psychosis of the damnable,
Postern doors and egresses of the peripheral façade flammable.
VI
Persecuted voices of the afflicted in the manacles of a vassalage,
Demise of the nefarious monarchy and the rapacious baronage,
And the incurious king and queen of the aristocrats and loyalists,
Imprisoned within the asylum of the harlequins and moralists.
