Mister Death~ he came
midnight mist mixed with wild winds
Blackened Aura form

Dark Soul~ evil grin
appeared grim~demon details
crawled beneath our skin

Gazing 'pon him,felt faint
A fearful feeling within
His lips dripped dark blood!

Fire burned in his eyes
Burnt Blackness surrounded him
Lost shadows 'round soul

Wicked ways spin webs
Snaring! Bleeding outward
Calling backward prayer

Sitting on full moon
His presence gazed down 'pon us
Mister Death~ he came

Death is a fun character to write about. Death is a great mystery and leave us in wonder or fear. I like the feel and story in the poem. Halloween time is best time of year for writing. So many things to use to create those scary stories. Native American myth state if you look quickly enough. Death is waiting for you on your left shoulder. A very good poem.
