Headless Horseman

Through ghostly haunted
woods of sleepy hollow cold
chills will ick a bod

headless horseman rides
with his flaming pumpkin head
sword raised in death’s wind

demon horse breathing
fire upon your bromy bones
hell underneath hoofs

with claps of thunder
he crosses bone marrow bridge
now a skeleton

lean Crane disappears
suddenly amidst the dark night
in secluded glen

ghost legend has it
the horseman’s identity
was really Brom Bones!
