Lives in the Louisiana swamp where the dead bodies rises

Has scaly green skin with big sharp Cancun jaws and reptile eyes

Its finger tips are sharp like knives will cut you apart eat you alive as its meal

Alligator Man the terror of the swamps will jump out of the marshy water go in for the kill

The moon tonight will hide behind the deathly clouds as the air smells of blood

Creature hides in the dark shadows of the pitch black night disguised with mud...

From the boggy hell it will sneak up from behind and all that you will hear is a terrifying crunch

As you jerk away in pain half of your arm mixes in with dead fishes, turtles and snakes for a bloody satisfying lunch.

Alligator man is hateful and mean he always takes his share

He owns the black murky waters where he kills and he doesn't care

And the swamp people know when the moon shines bright

That alligator man hunts for human blood in the dead of night

Deep, deeper down in the dank darkness he dwells

And if you approach near he'll be glad to show you his hell

Running away will do you no good, so don't even try

The Louisiana bayous is where you'll die

And legend has it so we've been told

The dirtiest demons are his helpers as his evil unfolds

With your body decaying and bleeding your big juicy head becomes part of its feast

Inside the diseased swampy earth you turn into a victim of the legendary beast

With scaly green skin, big sharp Cancun jaws and reptile eyes

It prowls through the demon shadowy waters as the dead bodies rise

Gosh, the two of you are King and Queen of horror writes!! You do seem to be able to cause the "spooks" to dance! The part about the juicy head made me squirm.....YUK!
This is another great macabre write! I know I don't want to meet up with this creature!!

The alligator man is terrifying! It seems like more of a demon than anything else, and the descriptions emphasise its bloodlust. The rhymes add a sense of wickedness e.g "feast" and "beast". Great use of words to create imagery.

This poem seems very well thought out. The monster seems feral and vicious. Despite being well written there is one flaw. Occassionally there were some parts that seemed redundant. For example:

"It's finger tips are sharp like knives will cut you apart eat you alive as its meal."

The "as its meal" part is redundant. The reader can already assume that someone being eaten by this creature would be a meal. Eating you alive states this well enough without needing "as its meal."

Despite this, it was still a good read and a great poem
