Rain Monster of the cloudy skies

With its powerful jaws of wind

Thunder storm of claws with lightning eyes

Upon the world its wickness will descend

Acid tears of anger burn away your fleshy skin

Drowning floods will wash away the innocence

Its force of typhoon power will begin

Rain Monster of the cloudy skies

A blackened stormy weather of fright

Makes a rather devilish campfire tale

Blood will splatter across the wounded streets

Humans will deal with a different kind of fiery hail

Its hurricane arms and tornado legs

Will spin across and destroy the once sacred land

As the Rain Monster eats its way across the bleeding world

You better find shelter reaching up to the sky with a bible in your hand

'Lest you reap hell's fiery brimstone to make your soul weep

It becomes your dreadful kiss of death

A darkness which opens your tomb

 It creeps in to steal your breath without remorse

Pelting Pain drops pours out its wrath

And hailstones bleed into each wound

A fierce beast howling like a wolf hunting its prey

Relentlessly stalking you night and day

Nothing calms or delays this rain monster's deadly course

As wicked winds bellow a chilling cough your way

Choking every ounce of life from you

It’s a nightmare crawling beneath its own loud din

Seeping~ creeping~ stealing the marrow from your bones

There’s no release as this beast collects his due within his grip

The rain monster roams this land soaking earth into molding mud

With a taste for blood and seals you in its darkest crypt

The two of you write so well together!
The image is just awesome and fitting for such a powerful write of the fury of such a scary monster!

There are many gripping lines, but I especially like these............

"As wicked winds bellow a chilling cough your way
Choking every ounce of life from you"

Okay, my first thought zombies and then I was like oh okay demons and all that stuff but I love it

The concept for this was very interesting and unique. I got a good sense of how powerful the thing was in the poem. It reminded me of a bunch of individual disaters fusing into one giant apocalyptic force. This was a very good read.

I think we did great on this and I think we created a very orignal horror campfire feel to this piece... overall I think this is one of our many great collabrations we have done... I think this turned out really well... Our pens always match up well..:)
