At first glance the eyes send a signal to the brain which translates: "Is this all?"
But then the brain begins to interpret the signal with less superficial cognisance.
The words connect the soul of nature with the soul of Man. It reminds Man that there will one day again be better seasons to come, reassuring and giving hope through the recognition birdsong conveys.
A little more than meets the eye. A sort of maxim. Interesting how much commonplace nature all around us truly represents. And interesting how I have managed to write more words about the poem than what of the poem itself consists.

The GIF complements this poem beautifully. I like story that is told here. A simple poem to describe a simple, but beautiful, phenomena.

Very beautiful poem. Nicely written. To allow a smoother flow in reading, it might not hurt to add a dash after "springtime's notes," but that's just a suggestion.

And by listening, we become part of the harmony.

So many emotions can be felt here. The serenity, the enchantment, and the tiny birds fluttering about, just lovely and creative writing!

I live the animation at the beginning. I watched the birds fly around for a moment before reading the actual piece. It definitely enhanced the words. Great Read.
