Moonlight shadows sneak across a velvet sky as midnight catches me watching and wondering why it seems to override my days as well these sinister shadows sent from hell
Haunting my dreams since whence I was born this dreadful darkness won't leave me alone trying to reach stars shinning bright searching a new moon of hope and light
Yet moonlight shadows always stay each new dawn and breaking day I cannot break this damning curse neverending evil at its deadly work
Demons and angels fight for my soul and I fear the demons are gaining control.
That was AWESOME!!! My favorite piece of work that you've written!! I could picture everything in my mind, vividly!! It sends chills down my spine!! And it is so true because everyone has their inner wars everyday. When we decide to do this or that. Doctors have decide whose lives to save. So many hard choices that we ourselves must make. Anyways, my favorite part of you poem was the last part "Demons and angels fight for my soul and I fear the demons are gaining control." That was just un-freaken-believable!! Congrats on one of the most amazing writes I have ever read!!
The image certainly set the stage for your words of battle....good vs evil, angels vs demons.....moonlight shadows always stay, damning curse all rendering a belief that evil has gained control!
Gripping!!
I love your art and poetry. Photo made the words come alive. The battle to stay clean and free is a hard task. I like the complete poem. A true pleasure to read.

i like this alot the darkness fits this piece well .. i could see a little poe in this but some blake as well but all in all a very well done piece for fran !!! your talent really shows through here nice job!!!
You display great parallels in the battle of dark and light, Fran. So realistic is the notion that those demons we battle are always right around the corner. I am reminded of Edgar Allen Poe when I read this dark piece.
'this dreadful darkness won't leave me alone
trying to reach the stars shining bright
searching a new moon of hope and light'...
I wish you a blue moon of hope for the coming year, my friend. Your work is always a pleasure to read.
