A darker love such as I've never known

  'tis the deepest part of me you own

you drink me in with gothic eyes

  into a midnight magic I can't deny

 

 

I cling to your every caress

   my darkest love you now possess

to darker realms of love that wait

   I'll walk with you thru~ hell's evil gate

 

 

Man nor beast shall come between

  this dark burning passion the world so deemed

A love with strength such as this

  secures the bond tighter with each dark kiss

 

 

A darker love is what you found in me

   and by the gods of hell you'll not go free

your chains are bound, I have the key

When I hear the term 'Dark Poetry" I immediately think Goth...so in my mind, this is right on!

It is intense, and has a gripping message of dark love.

Each verse is memorable, but the first one seems to set the stage of dark, midnight love!
