Running,Running Away

 

It was long ago
but it feels like yesterday
always a young girl
running, running away
 
but how could I run from myself
and what I truly am
marked by the blood of a wolf
and a full moon with blood on my hand
 
nobody ever guess 
from my innocent sweet look
that a hedious werewolf would emerge
in the woods down by meadow's brook
 
 
wishing,wishing, I was human
if only for a day
yet a cursed moon keeps calling
as I keep running; running away
 
gypsies around a campfire, dance
telling the tale of my destiny
about a sweet child of chance
doomed to prowl for all eternity
 
now aged; I tell you by tonight's blood moon
it's no different now then yesteday
I feel myself turning,turning and ready to kill my prey
as I keep running;running away

reminds me (not sure why ) of gypsies tramps and thieves (Cher)
( wonder if you could get her to do it !)
