`Midnight Splendor`

`Midnight Splendor`

A Poem by Fran Marie

Still wrapped in your midnight caress
the scent of you permeates the air
never wanted the night to end
 I'll  wait 'til you reappear

I long for you darling, you'll find me still here
wearing your shirt with the essence of you
making sweet love again
is all I simply want to do.

Still wrapped in your midnight charm
sending my thoughts to heaven's height
tripping all my senses into sensual sin
hoping to feel your passion peak tonight

Oh, how I'm still reeling
  from kisses so divine
dreaming of love's rhythmic movement within
  feeling  your heartbeat as mine

Still wrapped in midnight splendor
counting the moments 'til you return
knowing  what I'll do when you walk in
anticipating with a desire to burn

I'll no longer be wearing your shirt's embrace
  but bare inside your arms
feeling the splendor of your love again
and the warmth of all your manly charms

Amazing passion. You really explained what us girls like to do when our lover isn't with us. I love to wear my boyfriends sweatshirt because it makes me feel safe and protected, or I would if i had one :/. Very amazing. "So I'll go sit on the floor wearing your clothes all that i know is I don't know how to be something you missed." I love this line from the song Last Kiss by Taylor Swift. Your poem really reminded me of this. Thank you :)

Everyone is high on passion at the moment.. must be something going on with the planets. But you have it all going on with a fine talent in this piece, dripping sensual magick down the page. Love and desire is eternal.

The idea of being in a man's shirt...the man of your dreams, of your desire, of your passion, is sooooo sexy!...and the way you have described it in your poem has me running off to find one to wrap myself in!!....Now, JUST where did I leave that one he threw off last night.????...smiles...it must be under the wine bottle,...make that wine bottles, the almost burned out candle, and the manuel of hot love we were reading and putting to use!
Great write of MIDNIGHT SPLENDOR!

Oh Fran very nice... so very sultry and passionate... staying warm in the essence of your lover while they are away is so sexy and makes for heightened bliss when they return... heart pounding poetry for sure.
