Beautifully written with a level of mystique that cant help but draw you in. My writing tends to lean on a darker side so this really makes me smile. I also like the romanticism that's woven throughout. Intelligent writing that elevates the thought process. Great work!

This is a very personal poem. It is as if there is a mystery lingering in your bond. A mystery, the meaning to which does not need illumination. I love how you link is obscure more and more to others, and yet so clear to both of you, shared and pursued in a whirl of fog and yet there is the warmth of a flickering light.
You are awesome!

Fran, I'd love to think that seeing your avatar bright and shining in the Cafe today, means you just might be back to provide yet more of your wonderfully graphic poetry! 'Dark Winds' hits home as both a passionate and 'fantastical' view of how your mind and body waits, instinctively knowing what's ahead. Your words drift and soar, flow and rest, here, there.. then float away, beckoning, smiling, teasing. Great phrase,
' a slight of hand with words I've never known.. ' - deliciously seductive!
I love the feeling of mystery...the thrill of seduction
You possess my midnight thoughts
like magic writing my soul
a slight of hand with words I've never known
Your words are haunting...so beautiful!
:) Julie
