Dark Winds

 

You charm me like fog
rising from a fine halo's mist
springing forth from the dark winds of night
 
I succumb  and heed the call
longing for your touch and tender kiss
a curiosity overwhelms me,I cannot resist
 
You intrigue me like moonlight and mirrors
both crystal and onyx reflect
Allusive mysteries of life and death
 
I seek to know the powers of your mind
in an aura of sweet caress
perhaps,a smooth voice whisp'ring love,I pictureque
 
You possess my midnight thoughts
like magic writing my soul
a slight of hand with words I've never known
 
I linger in your legerdemain dream
inhaling its mystical calm
returning to the same dark winds to which I belong

This is a very personal poem. It is as if there is a mystery lingering in your bond. A mystery, the meaning to which does not need illumination. I love how you link is obscure more and more to others, and yet so clear to both of you, shared and pursued in a whirl of fog and yet there is the warmth of a flickering light.

'Dark Winds' hits home as both a passionate and 'fantastical' view of how your mind and body waits, instinctively knowing what's ahead. Your words drift and soar, flow and rest, here, there.. then float away, beckoning, smiling, teasing. Great phrase,
