Yeah, had all my necessities, my rose-colored shades and psychedelic towel. Jumped into my cool corvette car and sped to the beach in style.
Cranked my music way high, to a jumpin' jazzy tune. Splashed satiny sun lotion on myself oh yeah, it was a beachy keen day in June
Next thing I knew sand was kicked up in my face. A big old dog and a flying frisbee had been into a race.
'Come here Spot!' I heard his master shout and as this guy drew near I looked into his eyes He was the one, I knew without a doubt It was love at first sight, beneath azure skies
Now that beachy keen day,was a few years ago but the happiness still holds true today and if you catch me smiling you'll know It's because I still enjoy that peachy keen love in everyway
Oh friend what loveliness
He was the one ,i had no doubts.love at first sight, beneath azure skies
That beachy keen day a few years ago,but happiness still holds on today
and i still enjoy the peachy keen day in every way
Oh love under azure skies, came un noticed ,still so much welcome

What a great story in verse! Loved it! Very relatable, too! Many timely remembrances to send us back to the times: "peachy keen" & "beachy keen" (loved these two phrases juxtaposed!) I could almost see & feel the disruption of the dog & Frisbee (surprising way to bring in the hero of the tale!) Very playful way to share the meeting with groovy vibes that last a lifetime! *smile*
