`Deep Within`

`Deep Within`

A Poem by Fran Marie

IF I could have access to your mind
deep within and beyond the darkness
you secretly disguise~ I would delve
right into your soul,to discover if only
the shadows of your thoughts and the
secrets which they hold

and if I could plant thoughts in your head
you would know how deeply I love you
and how you hold me in the palm of your hand.
You could glimpse into my soul,
and handle gingerly the heart I give to you
as I succumb under your complete control

Even from a distance dear
you captured the very core of me
and my every sense comes rushing forth
when you draw near
and I wanting to fall into your arms
knowing you'll give your heart to share

Perhaps we'll toast a glass of love's
champagne and seal it with a kiss
exploring moments beneath the dancing stars
sharing moonlight  bliss
making each passion ours
doing what we wish

If only for a day, a night
you give me your tender touch
Love is such a gentle thing
in return~ I'll give you twice as much

We could entertain each other's thoughts
with one mind on love so true
If I could plant thoughts in your head
you would know how much I love, being in love with you

This is a deeply beautiful poem that has all the magical and mythical sentiments of love. I love the word choices for this poem and it reads more like a story. the imagery playing in my mind was serene and romantic.

What a beautiful sentiment. For a couple to know what is felt within each others heart and mind. Stunning write.

A perfect portrait of love, the beauty, the tranquility and the hopefulness. This is truly beautiful. I'm not particularly a fan of rhyming but it worked quite well in this :) All I'd say is maybe watch repetition of words, but it really is lovely :D

This is one of your best... wanting to give it all to the one you love including letting them see themselves through your eyes... Really love it.

Now this is supreme!! Love the flow immensely.. and the contents.. totally dreamy! The passion contained is full of fire and such a notion of planting thoughts instead of using a love potion.. makes it so unique! Thank you so much for sharing.. going to favorites for inspiration! =)

and how you hold me in the palm of your hand.
You could glimpse into my soul,
and handle gingerly the heart I give to you--------this was my favorite part. You make my morning full of hope, heartfulness and romantic desire. I love your being in love in this poem!
