'Tis Only Now

'Tis Only Now

Sonnet

Sonnet~

Of all the things in the world to capture
time would be the hardest to hold indeed
Love catches one off guard in sweet rapture
then cuts in time, a soul is left to bleed
And would we rather time be standing still ?
if paradise waits in a distant breeze?
dawns and setting sunsets, each day fulfilled
as time spins new life tapestries with ease
'tis only mem'ries which stills time to view
old photos might we ponder with fondness
whence vernal green, now a faded dim hue
yes, 'tis only now,in moments 'pon us

when time is ours~captured,to hold divine
'Alas in the end,we cannot capture time
