 When the world lets you down
        thru~ all your sorrows and pain
                  kneel to Him in prayer
                        for He's always there
                                    you've eveything to gain

 

 

When you can no longer bear the burden
    and you've no more tears to cry
                 turn to the Lord above
                  Jesus shows mercy in a perfect love
                     saved by His grace he will dry each eye

 

 

When in shallow waters you sink
 drowning in misery and can't take it no more
            He'll pick you up and fill your cup
                   'Footprints in the sand,' shows

                                      He carried you ashore

 

 

When youre depressed,in darkness you dwell
     and you don't know what to do
                       He'll shine His light,

                                 to make it right
                        He's the Friend that sees you thru~

 

 

 

When life seems hopeless, a lost cause
            and all your faith is lost
                  remember that He cares
                        He'll answer your prayers
                        He's your Salvation, He paid the cost

 

 

 

When you feel the lonely ache,dark shadows make
    and inside screams your heart and soul
      He's parting wide waters for His sons and daughters

                          He understands and takes our hand

                              We are his children, He told us so
