snow blankets the ground

as I look out my front window

The Blue Spruce

tree catches late afternoon sun

thru~ lofty boughs, tonight is

Christmas

beautiful picture... although the weather is nasty where my winter home is, but then I wouldn't have to go anywhere anyway, so I do miss the beauty and purity of a fresh snow falls. nice poem and pic. Charly

Beautiful image of a perfect moment in time. Nice job sticking to the cameo format too. Now I feel the need to have some cookies and hot cocoa while watching the snow fall outside. Good poem.
