A Summer's Dream End

A Summer's Dream End

A Poem by Fran Marie

Summer romanc beneath moonlight
a dream perchance that seemed so right
a lazy dance into the night
a summer dream came to an end

Summer days waned and nights drew cold
Was it a game ~a dream unfold
from whence it came fiery bold
                 a broken dream endured again

Summer's slumber in spooning romance
l remember it spent in a trance
full of wonderI took the chance
a summer dream came to an end

Lovely picture Hun. I would have liked more imagery in your piece. Imagine taking the picture away , and then describing it to me. It is a wonderful exercise to further your writing along.

Much enjoyed the read :)
