Winter's Night Sky

Winter's Night Sky

A Poem by Fran Marie

Snow flies In winter night skies
chilly air, I don't care
Season's Spirit,captured me.

Cheers!,Christmas draws near
children sleeping,not peeping
at gifts under the tree

Cakes baking, which I'm making
don't explode!
fun with rum, I'm in silly mode.

Sweet sleep draws nigh'
wishing for things, in sleepy-warm dreams
as I slumber under winter's night sky.

A pleasant romp through the word-fields of Christmas Eve. Delightful fun!
