`a lover's questions`

`a lover's questions`

A Poem by Fran Marie
"

Domino Rhyme Form

"

Magic vanished into thin air
Somehow our love faded away
We simply lost at love's tough game
Perhaps we started out all wrong.

Should we have found a better way?
But then again,is it just fate?
Seems it's worse when harder we try.
And after all,who is to blame?

Thinking maybe, it's not too late.
Another chance is all we need.
What went wrong causing us to part?
When? Where? and do I dare ask Why?

Questions without answers to heed.
I'm concluding this game's not fair!
Love's sweet tune became love's sad song.
No lover's refrain, No sweetheart.

Yeah, this piece makes a lot of sense. Your thoughts on the matter are absolutely excellent; I've never really read anything that actually presented something other than lovesickness, true love, heartbreak, etc.

"Questions without answers to heed./I'm concluding this game's not fair!" --My favorite lines. ^^ For a teen like me, that's all I believe in: an unfair game. :P

Thanks for posting this. ^^ I loved it!

You hit right on the mark of what I feel most days! The way you said it made it flow through your words. the feeling come right off the page. The words are like an arrow. Who ever made you fee like that should have a hole in their heart!

Should that we have turned left, or right. Who can say, but your questions are apropo. Iv'e heard it said that at the end of life if we have no regrets, then we really haven't lived at all.
I'm not an expert in form, but I felt the words you conveyed, and they touched me.
Simply wonderful!
