AugustA Poem by Fran MarieAugust mornings hazy and white with afternoons so sizzling hot. Your stale air lingering into the night the moon in August vapors caught.
Stars have lost their sparking glow you made them dull and flat The leaves on treees cannot blow, without a breeze upon their back.
August smoldering heat a rage inside me you stir. Your vanity so complete. A fire Queen as though you were.
Remove your steamy vapid self from us, you're really quite a bore. For you I have only contempt and disgust Oh, still August, nothing more.
