`not til Autumn`

`not til Autumn`

A Poem by Fran Marie
"

Sonnet

"

We have this moment, stars shimmer above
this magical moment to share our love
and if perchance 'morrow's sun does not shine
eternity fills this small frame of time

As seasons change our love blossoms and grows
soul mates always,I'll naught stop loving you,
not til Autumn ceases, nor cool wind blows
and Winter's lion lies weak, tamed and through
'Til Springtime refuses verdent green hue
and a harvest moon fades to a faint glow
'til rivers run dry and no streams to view
if just this moment you're mine this I'll know

Yes! on this sweet summer's night,we have love
'til hell freezes ov'r we have heaven above.

That picture is awesome, and your songwriting style is absolutely, 200% one of a kind! If you haven't already, you should consider entering this into a contest of some sort, because this is, without a doubt, poetry at it's most majestic.

Not sure what form of sonnet this is but I do like it. It has a wonderful flow and great balance. The turn at the end really adds feeling to it.

Two small nits: soulmate = soul mate and verdent = verdant
