Empty Visions

Empty Visions

A Poem by Fran Marie

Busker's tin cup donations
overflowing with
vague shadows

pouring out sketchy dreams

      he plays
tunes~
downward spirals
 sitting on empty visions

 yet...he has thoughts

 of spring's fair face

    then strums his guitar

I love the street musicians. They make the city gain life and magic. Hello dear Fran for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

They do dear Fran and you are welcome.
When we see a street musician, it's only a more visible & obvious version of all us poets that must write whether its making us money or not! Love your thought-provoking poem (((HUGS)))

Thanks Margie so much appreciate your kind words and thoughts..
As one who plays a little bit of guitar, emphasis on little, I really enjoyed this poem. It's not unusual too see people walking on the wharf playing some music for a little bit of coin. Especially up in SF. Thank you Fran for this wonderful visual poem.
