nature

Segments of an old fashion

 moon caught my eye 

dancing..

 sparkling sequin stars 

its sapphire dance floor

          

  atop the sky room of charm 

and magic.. as the moon

 played center stage 

 

a spotlight on moonlight 

a stellar lunar show 

silver slivers of light

shone bright.

                   and

     mother earth applauded

I love the S sounds that splatter like the night sky with her shining slivers and sizzling moon, planets and stars over the horizon of this poem... i feel an enigma in the opening stanza...is it the eye of the poet or the moon that dances?

dear Fran... the Sky is a Sapphire dance floor...
where lovely sparkly gem Stars dance in the Milky Way.
I suppose the earth rotates around the Moon... but gives
the allusion of moving around the Earth... much to study and learn.

motion..the earth orbits the sun
and the moon orbits earth with its 27
day cycle they both stir the magic
I feel we women know the moon.
so well ..i love the stars.. the milkyway
and all natures beauty..much appreciated
