oddly enough

oddly enough

A Poem by Fran Marie

a touch of autumn's breeze
is wafting through the air
I breathe its fresh fragrance

to my delight

perhaps it's advance wishing
I'm sensing; such sweet anticipation~
thinking  to myself as I add a
spot of brandy to my noontime tea

but of course
I understand; I'm just supposing

when it's still summer

Maybe one more spot of Brandy...and the leaves would start falling.
