we call it poetry

we call it poetry

A Poem by Fran Marie

poetry speaks its name
in heavenly shades and
tones~ it owns flowers
 butterflies and moon beams.
     bringing sweet dreams

      of daylight design

in gardens filled with sunshine
expanding excitement to inhale
moments of beauty
to intoxicate our senses
like champagne on ice

         as a cool breeze

zigzags through the trees
seeing leaves dance
entranced entertainment
for eyes to drink in

           and so much more

as nature's door opens up
to us in pastel and vibrant
hues. birds, sky and the sea
 sounds that lure us to
write down each nuance
 because poets have to

Isn't it true that we poets love to connect everything in such a beautiful artistic manner as if we see the nature in its heavenly form. This piece is amazing Fran. I really dig it.
Nicely penned, beautiful creation.
