Dare i speak
what i hold dear
inside my soul
 
Dare i caress you,
touch and kiss you,
showing~ from deep within
i want all of you
 
Dare i say,my darling
take all of me
 take anything
you wish,
i 'm your's completely
 
Dare i whisper
 in your ear, sweet
valentine wishes ,
four letter words
which hold the feelings
i feel for you
 
Dare i ask
we two kindred-souls
spend eternity
entwined in rapture
in a paradise of bliss
 
Dare i presume too much?
 
Dare i

Presume to dare! feel the longing to "dare' so much in this eloquently written poem....

Yep, makes sense to me too.

You have read my 'Drowning Nouns' so already know I can relate to such feelings of shyness and self-doubt.

Does the lack of question mark on the last line mean you did dare?

This poem does have a gentle and repressed feel to it - just right for the shy nature of it.

It's amazing how petrifying it can be to speak those words inside your soul.
