Prime TimeA Poem by Fran MarieShe had a broad view from the hotel's balcony on that bright sunny day.She was viewing larks and other birds in trees, and as she lowered her binoculars to a different angle, she was shockingly surprised when she spotted her husband with another woman holding her close to him and kissing her She felt her adrenalin pulsating thru~her system. She knew she needed to get a grip~ control the anger welling up within herself. Part of her wanted to confront them both right there and then. but she had second thoughts about it and decided to pour a drink and sit on the sofa under the cool breeze of the ceiling fan. She lit up a Newport cigarette inhaling deeply and wondered when would be the prime time to put the cards on the table. she thought tonight as the four of them dined. Her husband's boss, his wife, and she with her husband They had all gone to the convention that weekend and she had a suspicion her husband was cheating but she didn't know it was with Harriet. She thought to herself hmm, how could Henry do this to her? Harriet of all people, maybe the cheap fish net stockings she always wore with her phuck me shoes turned Henry's roving eyes into roaming hands or so it would seam and what would Hank say to all this ? Harriet's husband. Well, she had a plan~ sweet Helena did indeed let Hank know what Henry and Harriet were doing and before the night ended both men rolled up their sleeves and duked it out in the Hotel 's Parking lot! Hank gave Henry a shiner as a token of his appreciation for sharing his best friends's bed and fired him from the company. Then Helena gave Harriet a compass so she could find her way back to her hotel room, that is if she could still walk after Helena was through with her. © 2008 Fran MarieReviews
