I like the way you're placed inside me
That's when my little Red Flag goes up
I Feel as tho~ I am protecting you from
the harsh elements, until you leave me
to travel the distance to another destination
I get use to the Touch of so many Types
although wrapping and package may vary
a lot of them are just like you coming and
going on a daily basis
Someday you may return to me
and yes I'll still be standing here
with my door open to welcome you back
and receive you inside once more
You are always such a Special delivery
a delight to hold once again
so I'll wait paitently six days a week
thru~ rain, snow or shine
even love takes a holiday
THanks so much~ actually it's a Mailbox~
Letters/Mail are place inside 6 days a week~
no delivery from the postman
on Sunday~lol~Thus a holiday/ rest~ THanks for reading!

Being here in NY I thought you were talking about being a train, then I figure you were a house. Six days a week through all the elements, Love takes a holiday. The poem flows nicely and I always have great things to say about your work because you write so beautifully. Your words are so colorful, I just need to know who is coming inside you and if you are a metohor of what, a house, train or bus?
Very good. The way you give the mailbox voice was well done. The love, and open, welcoming door of our mailbox, which despite the postman oath, only receives 6 days a week. Well done.
