Yes, if I saw the Future, it just may blow my mind
I might or might not like just what I see
Living in the Present,is real as it can be

Remembering the Past,well, that was another time

 

But seeing the Future, oh what would I find?
To know just when I would die, my own mortality

The Past~'Tis but a memory, a flashback in the mind

The Present~'Tis here and now,today's reality
The Future~ 'Tis a fast foward glimpse of what's to be
If I can't see the Future now, I will eventually in due time
Yes, if I saw the Future, it just may blow my mind.

Author's Note

A French form consisting of 13 lines: two quatrains and a quintet, rhyming as follows:
ABba abAB abbaA. The capital letters are the refrains, or repeats.

If we could see the future we might just say "I pass" :-)
The only moment that is, is this one that we are experiencing right now, thats all any of us have and yet we expend endless hours of thought and effort on past that is gone and future that may never be.

The french form is a very cool thing. I don't think I have ever seen that but I do like it. and the words are wonderful too. Good write

This is cool, I'm glad we can't see the future, it might scare us, it is better just to live and be yourself right now and when your time comes, so be it.
