Your well-chosen images remind me of some savagely good times that burnt out fast. The power of your message resonates further as we imagine being so defiant toward pain that we'd do it again (whereas many retreat to their caution places to avoid further heartbreak). A few short lines that DELIVER! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Amazing use of words dear Fran. You said everything needed in the few words written. I would do the deadly and wild dance once again. Thank you dear friend for sharing the outstanding poetry. I liked this one.

Few lines yet impactful. Message of falling in love unconditionally knowing about the cold breeze is something daring. Nicely penned poem I must say. Have a wonderful day ahead :)

Yes, love is always worth fighting for even if we lose it all in the end. I like the courage that your final line contains; many others would prefer to hide behind a wall of heartbreak and never venture forth again, but not this poetess, and that is an attitude to be admired. Lovely senryu, Fran. 💛

This proves a poem can be better than a painting, that reading can be as good as seeing, that it doesn't take a thousand words to paint a picture. This had so much in few words. Amazing! Tyfs

love makes us all chasing on something/someone and then leaving 'em all accordingly w/ time, though best part of it relies on - how we live throu' what we are given w/ in time.
interesting.. & quite an artistry of yours i see in words.

There's much beauty in the place where your words took me. The imagery is striking too. And the conclusion is spirited and so powerful. Looking back at heartbreak, in retrospect, one is indeed grateful for the pain and dark rain that only took us towards light!

You're most welcome, Ms. Fran!
That's the heartbreak of love when it goes pear shaped. So much depth of feeling here Fran Marie. Ouch I can feel the hurt. However, I'd do it again too if it was good while it lasted. Well done my friend.
