Breezes

Breezes

A Poem by Fran Marie

   Cool breezes blew in

Sea's deep blue waves rushed ashore

         I'm no longer blue

The ocean has a way of putting things into perspective. We are but a speck in time but mother nature will have the last stay. Beautiful haiku.

I could do with a nice cool breeze out here. The global warming is giving me literally a headache! I admire people writing haikus because I am not a master when it comes to form. It must be a nice feeling if the sea breeze is the cure for your feeling blue ...
This put a longing smile on my face!

How beautifully you capture the healing and uplifting effects of the song of sea and breeze! So well done!

Fran, I am in the process of moving from Iowa to San Diego. This only echoed my excitement and proved it justified. Thank you for sharing and reminding me that in about five more days, I'll be right there under that tree thinking of your poem.
