Serenity

Serenity

A Poem by Fran Marie

Soft raindrops usher in a new day
Buffered sounds rush thru~lofty pine trees
Delicately, Enchatment plays
Sweet solitude, my soul doth please
Soothing moments, relax my mind
Fresh wet scent, favor each sense
Escaping stress, wrought thru~ man and time
Reaping Serenity's splendid recompense
Beholding this beauty's quiet ambience
A gift of peace,'Tis Nature's treat
And snow-capped mountain's gleam enhanced
thru~sunlit crags, blurs of firs do peek
With Waters below, flowing downstream
Smiles in Silence, my soul doth glean

Perfect Tittle for a perfect write. Flowed
like rivers to an ocean. Nicely done Fran.
I enjoyed this one very much.

I was drawn in by the title, as I was in the mood for some "Serenity." There is a wonderful elegance to your words, and the smooth flow of your prose. And I connected to the line, "Sweet solitude, my soul doth please."

Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece Fran.
