Sweet Strawberries & Sunflowers

for me.

picked fruit

and cut flowers 

brings back fond

memories of morning

bliss spent in sweet

serenity with you

that afternoon after

the sun escaped to

a distant horizon 

and evening shadows

ushered in a heavenly

summers lush breeze

and light raindrops 

licked our lips as

we stood there kissing

in the mist of a magic moment

and I found myself

very much in your

presence..

falling into your arms once more..

lured by

your charismatic charm

and more raindrops fell

late into a soft summer night

 of love
