Yes the heart is a rage of directions
like a tangled verse in far away dreams
scattered to the winds of imperfection
A heart off course, yielding to evil schemes
Misguided in a state of confusion
mixed emotions spinning out of control
unaligned, 'tis heart and mind's fusion
and rage doth torment the unaware soul
O' what inner peace, would calm the spirit
If heart and mind could meld a compromise
to kill this serpent's rage and doth end it
'Lest the spirit dwells in constant demise
when rage is naught, , heart follows the right path
to true destination,without fate's wrath
Fran Marie,
A heart off course may be headed down a one way street, racing along on a superhighway, or just cruising along!
I like the way you have captured the many emotions such a state of the heart may produce. When such happens, we must remain hopeful that it will correct the course, and remain steady...if not...well, you have described so much, so well!! Yes, let us keep the rage away!

This is a very good description of bi-polar, rage and all. Except the mind goes off course rather than the heart. Off course I assume you mean love here and it is true, that makes us crazy too. lol
Wow. You pictured the inner tempest caused by many types of love in the second strophe perfectly.
This is truely a remarkable piece of writing.
Good write sister, good write.
