Victim of love

 

I'm running as fast as i can
straight into the arms of another man
then maybe you might understand
just how bad you mistreated me
 
I'm leaving you cry in the dark
for a change,so many times
I have cried love's lonely tears
you have grown more distant day by day
and that's why I'm on my way
 
I really believed in you and your
spoken words of Love~
Promising me the moon
when you couldn't even
 reach the stars

And now I see how you are
Full of deception, deceit and lies
that only proved to put
 empty dreams in my eyes
 
Oh I' shall remember
the romance we shared
when stars dance
 and once you cared

 

How  would wake up
 next to you and you
still lost in sleepy-warm dreams~
 I loved watching you
sleep and when you awoke~
 with happy kisses
to greet me a good morning hon

 

then all too soon your warm
kisses turned into hateful words
neither of us talking
 by time day was done
 
Well, Darlin', I can't stay
any longer and be your
Victim of Love, playing the fool

you say stay, yet act another way

It's always mixed signals I get from you

So that's why I'm running away from
certain heartbreak to come
if I remain with you
