Event Horizon~flirting with oblivion~A Poem by Fran MarieA Collaboration by Fran Marie and A.J. Smith

Another great collaboration from you two! I love the title and the epigraph -- event horizon and black hole indeed. Wow!
As a reader, I found myself wondering one thing: do the people feel the oblivion spoken of in the epigraph, or is that a narrator's POV? Either way, while the poem left me wanting to know what comes next (WILL there be a Part Deux???), I think I would've liked a referral back to the epigraph somehow. One or two lines from the narrator/italicized POV, perhaps, or a comment from one or both of the poets. But not too much, and it's just a thought! The unknown of what's next is an essential part of that event horizon and the appeal of the poem! Thanks for sharing and good job! Posted 16 Years Ago2 of 2 people found this review constructive. |

Such a wonderful piece of writing. I liked how this piece came together so flowing and seamless not being to tell it didn't come from one person's mind. I really enjoyed this. This has been a great night 3 rd piece in a row that has been so wonderful to read and be a part of.

I really found that piece to be lovely. I loved how the poem told a great story, moving with light hearted words and descripted phrases that made my soul tinkle to. Very Nice, thanks for pointing out this read to me.
