April

April

A Poem by Fran Marie
"

Haiku set

"

Very Far lalalal Very far cat in Dogwood tree ATT11685

A month of surprise
burst of colors so intense
awakes ev'ry sense

endowed lofty trees
sway to a softly light breeze
season's recompence

winter's bid adieu
April sprang grand and brand new
wet blades of grass dance

This is beautiful. I think you captured what April is all about. It also happens to be my favorite month. Nice writing!

Season's recompence indeed -- nicely done, Fran! Helps me to know there's spring at the end of mud season, somewhere at least!
