Beyond the Forest Green

love sonnet

 

'Tis blue lake's bend, beyond the forest green
a lovely paradise, two lovers shared
A springtime enchantment, calm and serene
he brought Gardenias for his lady fair
O' yes! he loved her so,'twas very true
was it that she cared and loved him too?
two hearts beating as one, soulmates were they
a rapture in romance,stealing the day
Tho~ many of years passed,love hath no end
hence these lovers still meet there at lake's bend
keeping ,deep secret love affair their dream
Love's rendevous~ beyond the forest green
O' yes! she loved him so,'twas indeed true
was it that he cared and loved her too?
