November's Song

November's Song

A Poem by Fran Marie
"

Simple things of Nature

"

Abundance~ yet small
simple beauty beckons me
earth's precious moments

Birds sing ..leaves falling
Winds breathe cold grey raindrops fly
still flames glow with warmth

A second visit, and well worth it Fran for the lovely late autumn imagery and colour. Good luck in the contest.

dear Fran... the November winds blow golden leaves 🍁 with red kisses to the ground where a carpet of tenderness rests as smiles for awhile. Blue Jays fly ... 🔬 and swoop down to the ground... discovering a blanket of compassion where colors still mend the broken wing. Your poetry inspires and is a gift beyond compare. truly, Pat

Thanks Patricia for such a sweet review..I so appreciate your kind words..on my poetry
That sounds and feels very much like November days to me. The silver birch outside my window still has an abundance of gold leaves to fall and the acer of my neighbour is burning flame red. Nice lines Fran.

Simple and heart-warming, a reminder that the embers of summer still glow in the Autumn.

i like this poem a lot because i like the simple things in life...and see beauty in other things besides material accumulation.

nothing like a beautiful pile of maple leaves...beats a pile of cash any day in my book.
