we can draw some parallels between leaves and people I think.
I think we are our most vibrant in our adult years when we are settled, stable and happiest and then slowly fade away

Haiku for the explanation Fran, tis a lovely pic and a fine little oriental themed write... N
leaves do die...but these leaves represent people...when the color fades we become dead brown shells of what we were...and we can only hope our souls will be blown upward toward a good place.
this is concise and yet expands our thinking.
