BLacK RaiN

BLacK RaiN

A Poem by Fran Marie

'I will face toward the wind again
knowing I can carry on with
my life

forward to tomorrow's horiz-
zon,with you love, destiny's call
tho~rain

may fall 'pon my weary soul, the
black vaults of hell can do me
no harm

for I've been in prison before
breathing in storm's dust, hail and pain
put forth

only to conquer element's
pattern, defined as light'ning strikes
with winds

and wild torrents of life thereof
unravel,'neath the darken sky'
once more

as my eyes scan your lying words
re-reading for clues,of any
known truth

if only once you meant what you
say and write in your letters of
black rain

Rather nice... This is the build up to a really fine piece of prose.

Hmm it's a very interesting form whch I'm now going to go away and play with !
The phrases used within this are a series of pleasing (if rather dark) images .
I like the way the formatting looks like, very large raindrops too.
