Small WondersA Poem by Fran MarieEven in the quiet moments of a misty morning you cannot miss the most simple beauty of the small wonders of life you can still hear the smallest bird sing his sweet song the gentle raindrops tapping softly at the window pane the simple cocoon still brings to us the beautiful butterfly free to flutter among the palest pink rose and touch down upon the smallest blade of green grass and a caterpillar crawls slowly on a wet golden ground with autumn's leaves paving the way Ah, yes,the simple beauty of an ant busy at work makes its own statement a worthy one to consider in the simplicity of life Oh, to behold the simple and small wonders of this world is such sweet joy. And the buzzing bee still yields sweet honey.
