BLooD MooN

BLooD MooN

Dark Poetry

"

  Sense Death Moon

A pale bluish moon shown dimly that night,

an eerie moon with dark shadow's light

as you drew life's last breath,'twas a damned moon

as I stabbed you to death, a blood moon at best

I could not let you go to a new lover's arms

and be left with the curse of loving you

after seducing me with your deadly charms

you left me crying in the rain, sad and blue

I had to kill you both, I had no choice

was then I knew blood would be on the moon that night

for I follow the blood moon's voice

and killing  you was my delight

Some may think me quite mad, a crazy loon

but I would do it all over again

to murder while the blood is on the moon

a dark blood moon that guides my hand.

WOW!! you really can write a fine piece of poetry, you know that?! i really like this piece. a bite dark, but that, i think, is what makes it so much more appealing to me. you are a master at combining words so they flow from the readers mouth like a stream in summer, swift and smooth. also, great imagery-both in your words and with the picture selection for the piece.

I luv your work!! Thank you for sharing with us!

Not bad! I rather liked it.
The beginning failed to catch my attention...it gave me the impression that it was telling a story--not really like a poem this length should.
Maybe start with something else, then flow into the first line? Other than that it was good.

Okay, I know I've said this before, but your writing is absolutely amazing. This is definitely dark and creepy, in a good way of course. The only thing is, I wish it was longer. It leaves me wanting more, it's like... forgive my reference here, but your writing is like my own personal internet crack. I really enjoyed this, seriously.
